Very often, we move from one stage of our school life to the next, taking exams after exams without knowing the end in mind.  At Young Midas Enrichment, we believe education is part of self-discovery and knowing your true calling in life.  Areas we excel in school, our favourite subjects, our interests, our inclinations, give us a hint of what we are to become in our careers.  As such, career discovery and preparation start at an early age.  Our guiding principal is in line with the Education and Career Guidance (ECG) and SEL competencies:

 

1. Self-Awareness (SA): the awareness of personal characteristics (abilities, aptitudes, skills, values, and interests) and evaluation of these characteristics in terms of employability;

2. Opportunity Awareness (OA): the awareness of educational and career opportunities;

3. Decision Learning (DL): the development and application of decision-making skills to make informed decisions on education and career choices;

4. Transition Learning (TL): the development and application of work values and personal qualities, employability skills and knowledge, to transit successfully through the different levels of education and career.
